Seeking dynamic and experienced professional financial planners to join a leading Independent Financial Brokerage.

With a basic salary offering and lucrative commission structure, this is an exciting opportunity for success! As an independent Financial Brokerage, our client provides exceptional and unique services to professionals within the market.

Their success has been built on the relationships and professional service it has provided its clients for over 30 years.

Responsibilities:
  1. Work with company book of clients to meet and review their portfolio, providing professional financial advice and offerings.
  2. Prospect and obtain new clients in the market to add to its already extensive book.
  3. Provide financial products and services in a professional manner, building rapport and confidence in clients.
  4. Work with various FSPs and internal departments, communicating effectively to resolve concerns or queries.
  5. Maintain ongoing communication with clients.
  6. Develop comprehensive financial plans tailored to individual clients.
  7. Provide advice on investment strategies, retirement planning, estate planning, and tax optimization.
  8. Stay informed about market trends and economic developments.
  9. Assess clients' risk tolerance and recommend appropriate risk management strategies.
  10. Provide advice on Investment and Risk Products.
  11. Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling financial services.
  12. Network with professionals, attend industry events, and participate in marketing initiatives.
  13. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards.
  14. Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  15. Stay updated on changes in financial laws and regulations.
  16. Prepare regular reports for management and clients.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Matric with Tertiary Education in a finance-related field (Non-Negotiable).
  • NQF5: Wealth Management / BCom (RE5 Non-Negotiable).
  • Relevant Class of Business in place.
  • Fit and Proper.
  • Minimum 3 years in a financial planning role.
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Excel or related software.
  • Experience working with professionals and high-net-worth clients.
  • Previous book not a requirement.
  • Driver's license and own vehicle (non-negotiable).
