Position Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a multi-skilled health professional working with other healthcare providers to deliver quality care.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Provide patient care within scope of practice according to policies and protocols
2. Maintain up-to-date documentation in the Electronic Health Record
3. Provide patient education and counseling as directed
4. Triaging patient visits and returning calls while maintaining communication
5. Participate in training, QA, QI, and other activities
6. Manage inventory and restock supplies
7. Maintain professional work areas
8. Handle after-hours nurse duties and communicate with patients professionally
9. Document communications and update patient records promptly
10. Perform administrative duties and participate in meetings
11. Assist with data collection as needed
12. Perform other duties as assigned to improve efficiency

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited LPN program
• Current LPN license in Florida
• Minimum one year LPN experience preferred
• Current BLS certification
