A well known public entity is seeking an experienced individual to join their team in the Eastern Cape as a Chief Director - Infrastructure SCM management.

Key qualifications and experience :

Matric

Built environment related degree

Level 13 or higher (5 years'+) experience within Public sector infrastructure delivery and procurement

Must be registered with a professional body

Must have a pre-entry Nyukela certificate

Clear ITC and clear Crim

Great track record as reference checks will be conducted upfront

Responsible for the infrastructure procurement planning, policies, monitoring and reporting on infrastructure procurement and capital projects

Ensure the FIPDM implementation is compliant with CIDB compliance

Contract management and strategic procurement management

Develop moveable and immovable asset management policies

Draft and implement strategy plus APP

Identify and assess infrastructure projects, guiding and leading research, identifying bottlenecks for improvement

Oversee and manage restructuring projects and feasibility studies

Lead team successfully

Budget management, variance analysis
