Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed agreed revenue targets.
• Manage enquiries, negotiate contracts and close sales.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations and hotel site inspections.
• Work closely with Revenue and Marketing teams to maximise sales opportunities.
• Provide monthly sales reports and market insights to management.

Position: Leisure Sales Manager
Salary: R45,000 per month

Hospitality Hire is recruiting an experienced Leisure Sales Manager to support established hotel operations in Cape Town and Sandton.
We are seeking a results-driven Leisure Sales Manager with a strong existing client database and a proven track record of converting hospitality sales leads into revenue.
Reporting to the Group Commercial Director, the successful candidate will develop and maintain relationships with leisure travel agents, tour operators, corporate leisure partners, destination management companies, group organisers and other key leisure accounts.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' hospitality sales experience
• Strong existing client database and industry relationships
• Proven track record of sales conversions within the hospitality sector
• Strong understanding of hospitality sales and marketing techniques
• Established relationships within the leisure travel, tour operator or travel agency market highly advantageous
• Proactive approach to identifying and securing new business
• Strong negotiation, networking and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated, target driven and results orientated
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong planning and organisational ability
• Excellent attention to detail and deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional and well-groomed presentation
