Our client is seeking a skilled Legal Secretary to join their dynamic Legal Department. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the legal team in handling complex litigation cases and providing administrative assistance. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to attorneys in the Legal Department.
  • Prepare and file legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, appeals, and contracts.
  • Maintain and organize case files and other legal documentation.
  • Coordinate meetings, hearings, and court appearances.
  • Conduct legal research and summarize findings as required.
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court personnel professionally.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Matric, Diploma or Certificate is an advantage.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience as a Legal Secretary, preferably in a Litigation Department.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software relevant to legal work (e.g., MS Office Suite, legal research databases).
  • Excellent multitasking abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and proofreading.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
