Our corporate global client in Engineering is looking for a Legal Officer to assist with corporate matters reviewing and preparation of documentation, contracts and commercial law.

Minimum Requirements

• Commercial Law Degree (LLB & preferably an admitted attorney).
• 3-4 years post-article experience or 5 years’ experience in a corporate commercial role.
• Knowledge of global engineering contracts

Duties and Responsibilities

• Processing of general queries in terms of contract, commercial, corporate, and statutory law and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a range of client contracts
• Advising on general commercial and legal matters within the Divisions and Business Units.
• Assisting with Company Secretarial affairs as and where required by the Group Legal & Company Secretary.
