You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of contractual agreements, ensuring they align with business objectives and mitigate legal risks. Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including sales agreements, service level agreements (SLAs), partnership agreements, and procurement contracts.
• Provide expert legal advice and support to business units on contractual matters.
• Ensure all contracts comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Manage the contract lifecycle, from initiation and negotiation through to execution and termination.
• Identify and advise on potential legal risks associated with contractual terms and conditions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of standard contract templates and playbooks.
• Conduct legal research and provide opinions on complex contractual issues.
• Collaborate closely with sales, procurement, and other business teams to achieve favorable contractual outcomes.
• Support dispute resolution related to contractual matters.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of contract law and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa with a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience.
• Demonstrable expertise in commercial contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
• Strong understanding of South African contract law and related legal principles.
• Experience in the technology sector is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Superior drafting and communication abilities.
