Job summary

SACAA invites motivated students or recent graduates for an Office of the Company Secretary Internship in Centurion. You'll support the legal and compliance function, assist in developing policies, and help deliver training on relevant laws while monitoring compliance with POPIA.

The role covers risk assessments, reporting to management, and advancing education on regulatory updates. Requirements include Grade 12, an LLB, and preferably a compliance certificate, with a 1-2 year contract.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing an effective legal compliance program
• Assist in compiling Compliance Risk Management Plans to identify gaps
• Assist in developing and reviewing company policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws
• Advise management on the company’s compliance with laws and regulations through detailed reports
• Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations
