Job description
Legal Bookkeeper / Financial Manager – Johannesburg.

Our client, a modern and innovative Conveyancing practice situated in Johannesburg, is currently looking for a Legal Bookkeeper / Financial Manager to start immediately, or as soon as possible, at their practice, in Dunkel West.

Candidates must have experience working at a law practice specializing in conveyancing.

Salary: R20 000 – R25 000 per month (depending on experience).

Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • A relevant accounting / finance qualification
  • Conveyancing Practice experience
  • 3-5 Years Experience
  • Computer Literate – Ghostpractice & VIP
  • Well-groomed and presentable
  • Valid License and Own Transport

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Day to day administration of the conveyancing bookkeeping
  • Printing statements
  • Posting allocations
  • Loading payment
  • Processing regulation 86(4) investments, which includes posting guarantees if applicable, determining
  • LPC interest eared, bank charges etc.
  • Daily reconciliation of all trust and business accounts
  • Weekly COJ refunds outstanding, unallocated payments, age analysis
  • Loading salaries
  • Being able to gather information to filing and paye, vat, monthly vat adjustments
  • Posting journals as required
