Experience Requirements:- Minimum of 8 years' managerial experience within a legal environment- Proven experience in the Managed Care or Financial Services industry is essential

Role Purpose:The Legal and Corporate Governance Manager will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal advisory services and ensuring organisational compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal governance standards. The role includes overseeing the compliance program, managing litigation matters, and supporting the organisation in legal, corporate governance, and risk-related functions. Key Responsibilities:- Provide legal support and advisory services to internal stakeholders- Manage and implement the organisation's compliance programme- Provide support to the procurement function and resolve contract-related queries efficiently- Draft, review, and vet a wide range of legal documents including contracts, reports, legal opinions, letters, research papers, and terms of reference- Represent the Scheme at the Healthcare Forensic Management Unit (HFMU)- Provide support to the Financial Risk Committee (FRC) and Human Resources in labour/industrial relations matters- Oversee litigation in conjunction with internal management and external legal counsel- Provide governance support and advice across all relevant business units- Assist with the development and implementation of policies aligned to current legislation and regulatory frameworks
