Placements24 is seeking a diligent Legal Advisor (Commercial Contracts) in Stellenbosch to draft, review and negotiate a broad range of agreements. The role collaborates with procurement, sales and finance to align contracts with business and risk objectives.

The ideal candidate is admitted attorney with 4+ years of commercial contracting experience and strong contract lifecycle management, research skills and attention to detail. Office-based role in the Western Cape.

Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney of the High Court of SA with a minimum of 4 years in commercial contracts.
• Experience drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements.
• Strong understanding of contract, corporate law and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Based in Stellenbosch or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including service, supply, partnership agreements, and NDAs.
• Advise internal stakeholders on terms, risks and obligations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Manage contract lifecycle including renewals and terminations.
• Conduct legal research on commercial matters.
• Assist with development and implementation of contract policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts, including but not limited to, service agreements, supply agreements, partnership agreements, and NDAs.
