Job Description

You will be responsible for fact-checking all legal claims and preparing court papers when we need to take a debtor to court. You will assist credit controllers in compiling handover files and ensure information is accurate and relevant.

You will have a keen eye for detail and accuracy and have experience working between teams to investigate and fact-check information.

This is an exciting and challenging position. The successful candidate will relish the large amount of responsibility placed with them. The role involves working to deadlines in a sometimes demanding environment, requiring multi-tasking skills.

Duties
  1. Manage legal/handover accounts.
  2. Liaise with the legal team regarding customer queries.
  3. Assist credit controllers in compiling handover files.
  4. Ensure information is accurate and all relevant details are included in handover files.
  5. Perform reconciliations when necessary.
  6. Liaise with debt collection agencies regarding handover and progress.
  7. Manage pre-legal and legal processes for collections.
  8. Update status and tracking reports.
  9. Record and monitor deadlines.
  10. Minimum 2 years' experience working as an administrator.
  11. At least 1 year's experience as a legal administrator.
  12. Proficient in office programs with a minimum typing speed of 50 wpm.
  13. Excellent telephone manners and communication skills.
  14. Must be organized and able to work on own initiative.
  15. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
The Details
  • Working hours: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday (GMT).
  • 15 days holiday per year plus your birthday off.
  • Requirements: Minimum 20 MB broadband connection, your own PC/Laptop, and headset.
