Vacancy: Part-Time Lecturer

Location: Pietermaritzburg, within the School of Humanities and Social Sciences

Minimum Education Requirements
  • Master’s degree in Clinical, Counselling Psychology, Educational Psychology, or an equivalent qualification (Doctorate preferred)
Work Experience Requirements
  • 2-3 years of teaching and learning experience at a tertiary level is preferred
  • Experience as a Psychologist in clinical, counselling, research, or educational settings, including lecturing or tutoring at Honours level
  • Experience in psychotherapy and psychological assessments
Working Conditions
  • Part-time role with lectures scheduled between 08:00 and 17:00
  • Preference for South African citizens and permanent residents with proof of status
