The IIE's Varsity College, Sandton Campus has Part Time vacancies for lecturers in the School of Education for the following :

• Postgraduate Certificate in Education in Senior Phase and Further Education and Training Teaching.

Minimum Qualification Requirements :

• A minimum of a 4-year BEd degree plus, an Honours (BEd Hons) OR Humanities / Arts / Social Science Honours OR Postgraduate Diplomain Education (at NQF level 8).
• The Undergraduate Qualification OR the Honours OR The Postgraduate Teaching Diploma (NQF 8), must include a module on Teaching and Learning / Pedagogy.
• The Undergraduate Qualification or Postgraduate Qualification must include component subjects to at least NQF level 6 (usually the 2nd year of study) – English as a major.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements :

• School Teaching Experience in component subjects (Required).
• Tertiary Lecturing Experience (Ideal).
• Training & Development : 3 years (Required).
• Teaching : 3 years (Required).
