Vacancy Details:

Part-Time Lecturer positions in the School of Education for the following qualifications:

• Postgraduate Certificate in Education in Senior Phase and Further Education and Training Teaching

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

• A minimum of a 4-year BEd degree plus an Honours (BEd Hons) OR Humanities/Arts/Social Science Honours OR Postgraduate Diploma in Education (NQF level 8)
• The qualification must include a module on Teaching and Learning/Pedagogy
• Component subjects at least NQF level 6, typically the second year of study, including English as a major

Work Experience:

• School Teaching Experience in component subjects (Required)
• Tertiary Lecturing Experience (Ideal)

Additional Requirements:

• Training & Development: 3 years (Required)
• Teaching: 3 years (Required)

Working Conditions:

Positions are part-time, with teaching scheduled between 08:00 and 17:00 on weekdays. Due to high application volume, not all applicants may be contacted personally.
