Minimum Qualification Requirements:

• B.Ed. Honours degree or an Honours degree in Afrikaans or another Humanities/Arts/Social Science Honours or Postgraduate Diploma in Education (NQF level 8) in IP/SP/FET/HE

And:

• The qualification must include a module on Teaching and Learning/Pedagogy.

And:

• The undergraduate qualification must include Afrikaans as a major (up to third year level) or the Postgraduate Diploma in Education (NQF level 8) must include Afrikaans as a didactic subject.

Minimum Work Experience Requirement:

• Teaching or lecturing experience in Afrikaans at Intermediate Phase, Senior Phase, FET, or Higher Education level is required.
• Note: Teaching experience does not include experience gained during Teaching practice, Work Integrated Learning, Intern work, or being a Teaching assistant.

• This is an Independent Contractor role.
