Job Summary

The Department of Psychology at Purdue University Northwest (Hammond and Westville, Indiana) anticipates hiring a non-tenure-track Continuing Lecturer to teach introductory statistics in psychology, introduction to research methods in psychology, elementary psychology, and other undergraduate psychology courses for the Fall 2025-Spring 2026 school year. Courses will be taught in-person.

Candidates must have completed an MA in Psychology (or other relevant field) plus a minimum of two years teaching experience at the college level.

Start date is August 18, 2025. Responsibilities include teaching five classes per semester. Salary is competitive with similar positions at other regional institutions and includes benefits. Semester and year-long positions available. Renewal of the position is possible and contingent on enrollment and successful performance reviews.
