The IIE Vega, Durban Campus has a vacancy for a Part-Time Lecturer for the following module in the second semester of the 2025 academic year: Introduction to Quantitative Thinking & Techniques
Competencies Required
- Excellent communication (written and verbal)
- Passion for customer service
- Demonstrated ability to manage work and self proactively
- Organisational and time management skills
Minimum Qualification Requirements
- 3-year Finance/Business degree with 1 or more of the following modules completed at least at an NQF 6 level or as majors - Economics/Maths/Accounting.
Minimum Work Experience Requirements
- At least 5 years experience in a tertiary institution. The focus is understanding the quantitative skills that will be needed at the end of a degree and how the skills that they develop in the IQTT module will translate into the degree.
Working Conditions
- Please note that this is an Independent Contractor (part-time) role
Working Hours
- Lectures take place Monday to Friday: 08:00 -17: 30 – specific days and times depend on the timetable for the specific module(s)
Salary
- Hourly rate commensurate with experience and hours worked.
