Job Overview:

Provide day-to-day direction of staff and manage the Client Delivery Team to achieve client and company goals and initiatives.

Support direct reports and drive continuous improvement in processes and procedures used by the project team.

Perform duties of Project Manager / Set Up Project Manager as needed, for short-term or long-term assignments.

This role involves extensive mentoring and professional development of staff within Customer Delivery Teams, including performance management, professional development, and employee recognition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and promote a culture of delivering "best-in-industry" customer service, ensuring rapid issue identification and timely communication of resolutions.
• Ensure studies are planned and executed in accordance with FDA, ICH, and EMEA guidelines, following Good Clinical Practices.
• Report productivity and quality metrics to the Associate Director.
• Lead or participate in external customer meetings with sales to drive new and repeat business.
• Administer study training to sites, CRAs, and sponsors as needed, and maintain regular communication to manage project expectations and issues.
• Report team performance against contracts, client expectations, and project baselines to management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or related field preferred; equivalent education, training, and experience may be considered.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in clinical trials, hospital-funded research, project management, or laboratory environment.
• Strong people management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Experience in leading large, global, and complex Phase I-IV clinical trials preferred.
