Position: Lecturer

Purpose: To teach allocated modules, engage with students, support assessments, and assist in academic administration.

Responsibilities:

1. Deliver lectures and engage students according to module requirements.
2. Manage academic resources and liaise with the Information Centre.
3. Update Learning Management System and provide student feedback.
4. Prepare students for assessments, identify at-risk students, and develop assessments in collaboration with the Central Academic Team.
5. Monitor student engagement and assessment submissions, escalating issues as needed.
6. Participate in academic meetings and support Part-time Lecturers.
7. Reflect on and analyze student results to identify at-risk modules.
8. Develop teaching materials aligned with module outcomes.
9. Assist with student registration and orientation as required.

Research & Professional Development: Conduct disciplinary research and complete professional development activities annually to enhance teaching practices.

Minimum Requirements:

• Diploma in Construction and Engineering Drafting or Architectural and Built Environment Technology.
• 1 to 3 years of industry experience in the relevant field.
• At least 1 year of lecturing experience.
