The University of the Free State invites applications for a Lecturer in Language Education (Afrikaans) at the Bloemfontein Campus. You will teach undergraduate and postgraduate modules in Languages Education and General Education, supervise students, contribute to curriculum development, and participate in research activities.

Qualifications

• Doctoral level or equivalent with focus on Afrikaans teaching/learning.
• PhD registration for doctoral degree in Education must be submitted.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate modules in Languages Education and General Education.
• Participate in the Work Integrated Learning programme (Teaching Practice).
• Contribute to curriculum development and research activities.
• Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students and provide consultations.
• Collaborate with faculty colleagues on leadership and administration.
