The Department of the Information Systems invites suitably qualified candidates to join their team.
The Department - Description of the Department
The Department is situated within the Faculty of Commerce, primarily servicing students reading for the BBusSc, BCom, and BSc (InfSys) degrees. Established at Rhodes University in 1980 as a sub-department of Business Administration, it is now an independent Department offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
Information Systems is a two-year major attracting students pursuing careers in Information Systems or Accounting. All students must complete a first-year computing course offered by the Department of Computer Science before registering for Information Systems.
The Department offers courses at second, third, and fourth (honors) year levels, as well as Masters and PhD degrees by thesis.
Academics are responsible for teaching, research, and community engagement. They are also expected to assume administrative, management, and leadership duties at various levels within the university.

Basic Salary: R633,149.00 per annum
Cost to Company: R826,949.00 per annum (approx.)
