This role is responsible for leasing properties within the commercial portfolio, securing optimal occupancy, and maximizing rental income. The Leasing Manager plays a key role in shaping and executing strategic letting plans, maintaining high levels of tenant satisfaction, and ensuring alignment with the broader asset strategy.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic letting plans aligned with financial performance goals and category-specific analysis.
- Negotiate lease terms and renewals, ensuring market-related rentals and optimal tenant mix.
- Manage lease expiries and renewals proactively; track, stagger, and document leasing actions.
- Source and onboard new tenants while maintaining a waiting list of prospective lessees.
- Conduct rental assessments and ensure leasing actions are thoroughly justified and documented.
- Liaise with tenants, address leasing-related queries, and resolve building-related issues in collaboration with operations teams.
- Analyze tenant and category performance, market research, and mall turnover trends to inform leasing decisions.
- Drive non-GLA income initiatives, oversee tenant fit-outs, and manage installation contributions.
- Ensure compliance with leasing policies, regulatory codes, and internal procedures.
- Maintain effective interdepartmental communication and participate in cross-functional coordination.
- Represent the organization in lease negotiations and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee preparation and submission of leasing reports, budgets, and strategy documents.
- Stay informed about legal changes, by-laws, and retail property trends.
- Mentor junior leasing staff and build organizational capability in leasing functions.
Requirements
Experience
- 6–10 years’ experience in commercial property leasing or retail leasing operations.
- 3–6 years’ experience in managing leasing teams or delivering performance within a leasing environment.
