Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support students academically, socially and emotionally within a positive learning environment. The role involves working 1:1 and in groups, assisting with lessons, and promoting safeguarding and inclusion.

Experience with children and young people is desirable, and enhanced safeguarding checks are expected. The role offers a supportive school setting and opportunities for professional development.

Responsibilities

• Support students 1:1 and in small groups in the classroom.
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
• Help students develop confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours.
• Provide support to pupils with SEND where required.
• Adapt resources to meet individual student needs.
• Support classroom behaviour management and positive interactions.
• Monitor and record student progress and provide feedback to staff.
• Assist with classroom prep, displays and admin duties.
• Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusion at all times.
• Support students during breaks, trips and extracurricular activities.
