Job summary

Senploy seeks a Dynamic KS2 Learning Support Assistant for a full-time, long-term role at a vibrant East London primary school. You will work with teachers to deliver structured, engaging learning, supporting pupils across KS2 and helping to build confidence in reading, writing and numeracy.

The right candidate will have KS2 classroom experience, SEN exposure, and a committed, proactive attitude. A degree is desirable and an Enhanced DBS is preferred or a willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

  • 0SEN experience within a primary setting.
  • A degree is highly desirable, especially in education or related field.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver KS2 small-group and 1:1 interventions.
  • Supporting learners with mild to moderate SEN needs.
  • Help shape engaging lessons and organise resources.
  • Boost pupils' reading, writing, maths and problem-solving.
  • Encourage independence, curiosity and positive learning habits.
  • Maintain a calm, inclusive classroom environment.
  • Uphold safeguarding standards and communicate with staff and families.

Dynamic KS2 Learning Support Assistant - Full-time, Long-term - Immediate Start

A lively, community-centred East London primary school with a reputation for high standards, exceptional pastoral care and a warm, inclusive ethos is searching for a KS2 Learning Support Assistant to join their vibrant team. This school champions creativity, resilience and academic ambition - and they're looking for someone who can match that energy in the classroom.

This is a full-time, long-term role starting ASAP, supporting pupils across KS2 and working closely with teachers to deliver engaging, structured and inspiring learning.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Delivering targeted support to KS2 pupils through small-group and 1:1 interventions
  • Supporting learners with mild to moderate SEN needs (ASD, ADHD, speech & language, SEMH)
  • Helping shape engaging lessons, organise resources and maintain smooth classroom routines
  • Boosting pupils' confidence in reading, writing, maths and problem-solving
  • Encouraging independence, curiosity and positive learning habits
  • Maintaining a calm, inclusive and motivating classroom environment
  • Upholding safeguarding standards and communicating effectively with staff and families

Pay

£100-£110 per day DOE
