Qualifications

Job Description

The Learning Material Developeris responsible for co-designing, implementing and evaluating training and development programs that enhance the skills, safety, and productivity of employees withing the mining operation. This role ensures the workforce is equipped to meet current and future operational requirements while adhering to industry standards and regulations.

  • Design and Development of Mining Skills & Refresher training for B2 – D2 (mining operations).
  • Mining continuous evaluations on the job-training conducted for MDP’s and UMO’s .
  • Compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act (including Sect. 54/55 and learning from incidents).
  • Prioritize skills determined for mining competency.
  • Compliance in terms of MQA and QCTO requirements.
  • Conducting Moderations on Assessments
  • Best practice integration in training methodology.
  • Progress reported against predetermined targets.
  • Participation in the alignment of mining standards and Governing Bodies.
  • Participating in incidents and accidents investigations.
  • Procedures and standards implemented in training execution.
Qualifications
  • Grade 12
  • NQF5 OD ETDP Level 5 Higher Certificate
  • Blasting Certificate (Conventional & Mechanized)
  • Shift Supervisor Certificate (Conventional & Mechanized)
  • Mine Overseer Certificate (Advantageous)
  • Design and Development of Learning Material (Advantageous)
  • Accessor
  • Moderator
  • ISO 9001:2015 certificate will be advantageous
