Job summary

A leading food manufacturer in South Africa is seeking an experienced individual to manage the learning and development budget and training programs. The ideal candidate should have a tertiary qualification in human resources or a related field and 3-5 years of relevant experience. Strong planning, communication, and project management skills are essential. This role offers a dynamic work environment focused on passion and customer service.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in human resources management and/or training development and delivery.
  • Understanding of adult learning processes, instructional design techniques, and evaluation methodologies.
  • Understanding of the impact of training on overall business performance.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the Annual L&D Budgeting process.
  • Ensuring training delivery timeously.
  • Providing SOP Training and skills development oversight.
  • Vendor management & RFP coordination.

What You Will Do

  • Managing the Annual L&D Budgeting process
  • Managing the current training budget spend and ensuring training delivery timeously
  • Management of the WSP/ATR process
  • Providing SOP Training and skills development oversight
  • Providing support in the management of the BU Employment Equity Committees
  • Management of the Trade & Industry (DTI) & SDF process
  • Management of learnerships and apprenticeship programmes
  • Vendor management & RFP coordination
  • Management of the BU Bursary process
  • Providing ad-hoc support to the BU HR Team

Experience
