Job summary

Online Education Services Pty Ltd in Cape Town seeks an experienced Learning Designer to craft world-class digital learning experiences for global learners. You will influence MBA programs, MOOCs, and competency-based training, shaping outcomes and leveraging GenAI to boost workflow and product quality.

You will own design deliverables, collaborate across teams, and mentor stakeholders while upholding OES quality standards in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in online or blended learning design or a similar role.
• Strong consultancy and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Proficiency in designing and developing courses for multiple LMSs (EdX, Canvas, Bridge, etc.).
• Proven ability to self-motivate, work autonomously, and demonstrate leadership within a multidisciplinary team.
• Deep knowledge of best practices for online and blended learning design.
• Ability to coach peers and external stakeholders on best practices.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced learning design knowledge to create technology-enabled learning experiences that meet best practice standards.
• Ensure all learning materials align with quality framework and enhance learner engagement.
• Translate course blueprints into detailed course storyboards for seamless development.
• Design engaging online learning experiences by structuring content and integrating multimedia.
• Author directly on the LMS or support the learning technologist team in course building.
• Collaborate with production to create course and video graphic guides per design principles.
• Support QA processes to ensure design activities meet standards.
• Proactively integrate GenAI technologies to enhance workflow and innovation.
