Job Description
  • Raizcorp is seeking a highly competent and experienced learning centre manager (learning programme manager) with a proven background in learning centre and learning compliance management to run a very successful centre in Sandton, Johannesburg. Our learning centre manager ensures that every program running in their centre is fully compliant, well-delivered, and accurately reported on. Within our centres, the programme participants are entrepreneurs who are actively running their businesses while being on programme. The position therefore involves managing every entrepreneurs’ participation (attendance, coaching, learning sessions etc.), ensuring program requirements are met, and producing meticulous data / reporting for internal management and external sponsoring clients.

The position's key outputs include :

  • Programme compliance: Each program has its own compliance framework (attendance, coaching sessions, reporting, financial contributions etc.). The manager ensures 100% adherence and takes corrective action with their team and participants when compliance slips. The learning centre manager must stay critically abreast of each programme’s specific requirements, deliverables and outcomes, ensuring the specific nuances of each programme is meticulously adhered to and actively driven.
  • Operational oversight: Running the learning centre day-to-day which includes staff management, scheduling, covering absenteeism, ensuring sessions run on time, managing facilities, and keeping the branch “always on.”
  • Data and reporting: Tracking every participant on programme (we use bespoke learner and centre manager software), ensuring data accuracy, and delivering insightful reports on compliance, outcomes, exits, and graduations to both internal management and external stakeholders (feedback and progress meetings with clients, etc.). The learning centre manager must make key decisions based on interpretation of centre and participant performance data (the ability to function effectively in such an environment is key).
  • People management and leadership: Managing and leading centre staff (coaches, administrators, facilitators etc.) to keep sessions effectively running, investigating failures, and maintaining exceptional accountability and performance levels.

Experience required :

  • A minimum five years' experience in structured learning environments management, such as SETAs, learnerships, training organisations, or corporate-funded training programmes is vital.
  • A minimum five years' experience in compliance-heavy programme delivery, reporting, and sponsor / beneficiary dynamics.
  • A proven track record of needing to work meticulously with data and strong compliance orientation critical.
  • Prior experience in and the proven ability to handle large program volumes (data, programme requirements and people)
  • Strong experience with and comfortable in using learning and compliance systems.
  • Strong emotional maturity and the ability to effectively communicate with people from all walks of life.
  • A minimum tertiary level qualification is non-negotiable.
  • Strong business acumen vital.
  • A valid drivers' license and own reliable vehicle.
  • Local travel to clients, programme launches etc. required (no extensive travel requirement).
