Our client is a pioneering automotive company revolutionizing car sales in South Africa through innovative digital platforms. With a mission to create magical car buying experiences, they are seeking a dynamic Learning & Development Manager to join their team.

Job Purpose

We are looking for a forward-thinking Training and Development Specialist responsible for designing, delivering, and managing comprehensive training programs that enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance across our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and develop targeted training materials, including:
  2. Engaging presentations
  3. Rigorous assessment tools
  4. Customize learning content to meet specific organizational and departmental objectives
  5. Ensure training materials align with industry best practices and company goals

Training Delivery

  1. Facilitate diverse learning experiences through:
  2. Adapt teaching methodologies to accommodate various learning styles and preferences
  3. Create an engaging and supportive learning environment

Training Needs Analysis

  1. Conduct thorough organizational skills gap assessments
  2. Collaborate with department heads to identify critical training requirements
  3. Develop strategic learning interventions that address specific performance challenges

Program Evaluation and Impact Measurement

  1. Design and implement comprehensive evaluation mechanisms
  2. Develop post-training assessment tools
  3. Analyze feedback and performance data
  4. Track and report on learning program effectiveness and ROI

Learner Support and Engagement

  1. Provide ongoing mentorship and support throughout the learning journey
  2. Offer personalized guidance to participants
  3. Maintain open communication channels for learning-related queries
  4. Follow up on individual and team learning progress

Technology and Digital Learning Integration

  1. Implement digital learning tools and technologies
  2. Create blended learning experiences combining traditional and digital methodologies

Required Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field
  2. Minimum 3-5 years of professional training and development experience
  3. Proven track record of designing and implementing successful training programs
  4. Exceptional communication and presentation abilities
  5. Proficiency in adult learning principles
  6. Advanced digital literacy
  7. Analytical and strategic thinking
  8. Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills
  9. Advanced MS Office skills
  10. Experience with digital learning platforms
  11. Basic graphic design and content creation tools
  12. Data analysis and reporting capabilities
