A challenging opportunity exists within the automotive industry for a result-driven Learning and Development Manager in Bedfordview, Gauteng.
POSITION INFO: Responsibilities:
Deliver on the Annual Learning and Development (L&D) strategy.
Plan and implement L&D initiatives.
Support and function as an advisor to employees and line management on all people development solutions.
Leverage technology to create and manage an integrated digitized learning ecosystem, incorporating e-learning, mobile learning, and other digital tools.
Partner with Subject Matter Experts to curate relevant, fit-for-purpose e-learning programs; integrate gamification elements into the learning strategy.
Build strategic, industry, and global networks of thought leaders and relationships using social media and attending conferences and training interventions.
Manage L&D, Career Management, Performance Management, Employment Equity, and Bursaries.
Design and develop frameworks, methodologies, standards, and policies for Performance Management.
Manage the Employment Equity Function.
Manage Bursaries trust mandate updates and budgeting process.
Qualifications and Experience:
B Com Degree in Business Management / HR.
Honours Degree in Business Management / HR.
Registration with SABPP would be advantageous.
5-8 years of experience as an HR / Learning and Development Manager with proven exposure and experience at a Senior Level.
2-3 years’ experience in Digital Learning Solutions and e-learning platforms.
Sound knowledge and experience of SETA requirements (specific knowledge on MERSETA / W&RSETA would be an added advantage).
Sound knowledge and experience in terms of Workplace Skills Plan and Annual Training Report Submission.
Sound knowledge and experience from a BBBEE scorecard perspective and the compilation thereof specifically pertaining to Skills Development.
Experience with running accredited programs.
Experience with the management of an onsite Training academy would be an added advantage.
