Job Description

The Learning Advisor plays a vital role in facilitating the learning and development activities within the operation. This role is dedicated to supporting the Section Manager Learning Delivery in ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, while strategically managing training programs to enhance employee skills, safety, and operational effectiveness.

  • Executed skills development for competency.
  • Compliance to training and assessment with approved methodology and learning material (learning delivery system).
  • Compliance to the Mine Health and Safety Act.
  • Training resources in compliance with best practice.
  • Compliance in terms of MQA and QCTO requirements
  • Executed and delivered Engineering / generic / site specific Induction, Equipment Operating Skills and ancillary and skills training.
  • Progressive reports on predetermined targets for skills development.
  • Relationships with relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Grade 12
  • Trade Certificate
  • Foreman Scheme Certificate
  • NQF 6 OD ETDP Diploma
  • Assessor and Moderator Certificate
  • Risk Management Certificate will be an added advantage
  • ISO 9001of 2015 Certificate

Knowledge, Skills experience required:

  • 4 years experience as an Engineering Foreman
  • Appointed Engineering Specialist is advantageous
  • Including at least 2 years learning experience
  • Projects Management experience is advantageous
  • Auditing & Quality Assurance an advantageous
  • Ability to capture on LMS Or SIMS will be advantageous
