Job summary

VKB Group in Prieska, Northern Cape, is seeking a Learner Parts Marketer to begin a career in agricultural parts sales and customer service. You will learn to source parts, assist customers, and manage stock while building relationships with farmers and clients in a busy branch.

You will be trained in using CASE IH catalogues, stock control, and merchandising, with opportunities to grow within VKB Mechanisation.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 with Mathematics.
  • Valid driver’s licence will be advantageous.
  • Good communication skills in English and Afrikaans.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with parts enquiries and sales.
  • Learn to identify and source agricultural machinery parts accurately.
  • Manage stock effectively, ensuring availability and stock movement-based ordering.
  • Assist with receiving, unpacking, and binning stock.
  • Maintain clean, organized shelves and correctly labelled displays.
  • Assist with stock counts and inventory control processes.
  • Capture sales orders and quotations under supervision.
  • Support workshop and service department parts requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with farmers and clients.
  • Learn CASE IH and other equipment parts catalogues and systems.
  • Participate in training and development initiatives.
