About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Lean Manufacturing Specialist to drive continuous improvement initiatives within their manufacturing operations, working remotely. This role is focused on implementing Lean principles and methodologies to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity across the organization. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities for improvement, training teams on Lean concepts, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and problem-solving from a virtual standpoint. This is an excellent opportunity for a Lean expert to make a significant impact in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Lean manufacturing strategies and continuous improvement programs.
• Conduct virtual Kaizen events and value stream mapping sessions.
• Identify and eliminate waste in all forms (e.g., overproduction, waiting, transport, defects).
• Train and mentor production staff on Lean principles and problem-solving techniques.
• Monitor and report on the progress of Lean initiatives and their impact on KPIs.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement in Lean practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience implementing Lean Manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, VSM, Six Sigma).
• Demonstrated success in driving process improvements and achieving measurable results in a manufacturing context.
• Strong facilitation and training skills, adaptable to a remote environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively communicate with diverse teams remotely.
• Relevant certification (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt) is highly desirable.
