Job description
  1. Ensure Quality is built in on Pre-Flight, Post Flight and Transit inspections performed;
  2. Perform routine and non-routine inspections and maintenance on aircraft to ensure they meet the highest safety and operational standards;
  3. Conduct routine inspections on various mechanical systems on the aircraft;
  4. Conduct fault finding and rectify based on the fault;
  5. Perform thorough daily inspections of the aircraft to identify any potential issues or defects;
  6. Conduct necessary maintenance tasks to ensure the airworthiness of the aircraft;
  7. Adhere to established maintenance procedures and safety standards;
  8. All activities must be properly recorded and signed off as per SACCA requirements ensuring that all the required legal aspects are complied with;
  9. Health and safety requirements must always be followed to ensure personal safety, the safety of others, and to prevent fires, accidents, and incidents;
  10. Ensure that the work area, equipment, and tooling are properly maintained and safe prior to starting any job to prevent accidents or incidents to aircraft and staff;
  11. Maintain the highest quality and standard of inspections;
  12. Apply analytical thinking and troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes and implement effective solutions;
  13. Communicate clearly and professionally to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of maintenance tasks.
