Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Virtual Early Childhood Educator to lead pedagogical innovation in their Randburg-based online learning environment. This fully remote role designs and oversees advanced virtual curriculum modules that foster critical thinking, creativity, and socio-emotional development in young learners.

You will mentor other educators, develop online pedagogy best practices, and ensure an exceptional learning experience across digital platforms.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
7+ years of experience in ECD, with 3+ years in online instruction.
Proven ability to design and deliver virtual learning programs for young children.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills for remote teams.
Proficiency with diverse digital tools and LMS platforms.

Responsibilities

Develop and refine advanced virtual curriculum frameworks and learning activities for early childhood education.
Lead the delivery of engaging online lessons and interactive sessions, demonstrating mastery of virtual teaching techniques.
Mentor and guide junior educators on effective online pedagogical strategies and engagement techniques.
Evaluate and integrate new digital tools and educational technologies to enhance the virtual learning experience.
Collaborate with curriculum developers and tech teams to ensure pedagogical integrity and technical functionality of the platform.
