Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Early Years Educator to deliver high-quality online early childhood education from home. You will design virtual lessons, create digital content, and support children and families across South Africa using technology-driven teaching methods.

The role requires strong communication, creativity, and the ability to adapt pedagogy for online delivery while maintaining engaging, developmentally appropriate activities for young learners.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Experience in early years teaching with a portfolio of engaging lesson plans.
• Proficiency with educational technology and online platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with remote families.
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing time remotely.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging online learning activities and virtual classroom sessions.
• Develop digital content, including interactive games, stories, and educational resources.
• Provide individualized support and feedback to children and families through various digital channels.
• Monitor children's progress through online assessments and document achievements and development.
• Collaborate with the remote team to enhance the virtual learning platform and curriculum.
