Job summary

MCI Careers is seeking a UI/UX Designer to shape the full experience from first click to long-term engagement. You will lead web and mobile design, map journeys for candidates and employers, and build a cohesive design system to support rapid growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in CS, HCI, Design, or related field.
• 3–5+ years UI/UX design experience, ideally with marketplaces or HR tech.
• Portfolio showing end-to-end product design across web and mobile.
• Expertise in Figma, prototyping tools, and design systems.
• Ability to translate ambiguous problems into human-centered solutions.
• Comfort with product metrics and data-driven design decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead UI/UX design for labor marketplace across web and mobile.
• Map user journeys for candidates, employers, recruiters, and workforce managers.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using industry-standard tools (Figma preferred).
• Build a cohesive design system that supports speed, scalability, accessibility, and brand consistency.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers on feature definition, workflow design, and sprint planning.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate concepts and streamline hiring flows.
• Use data-driven insights to optimize conversion funnels, reduce friction, and lift engagement.
• Design dashboards, onboarding flows, scheduling tools, messaging interfaces, and profile pages tailored to employer and worker personas.
• Support continuous improvement of talent-acquisition features such as job posting, search, matching, and identity verification.
• Solve complex workforce challenges through elegant UX solutions.
