Job Summary

We’re hiring a Lead Structural Engineer for our Pretoria office. You’ll handle structural analysis and design, focusing on mining, energy, and industrial projects, with bonus points for commercial or public sector experience.

Beyond the technical side, you’ll help with business development, client relationships, and guiding the future of our structural services. If you enjoy leading teams, mentoring junior staff, and finding better ways to work, this role’s for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead structural design and analysis across project stages
• Ensure quality control and standards compliance
• Support business development and client growth
• Contribute to proposals and pricing
• Collaborate with engineers and BIM teams

What You Should Bring:

• Strong structural engineering experience
• Leadership in BIM and CAD environments
• Background in mining, energy, and industrial sectors
• Bonus: experience in commercial/public infrastructure
• Client-facing and business development experience
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• PrEng with ECSA
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil or Structural Engineering
