Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy with a specialization in Sports Physiotherapy.
• Registered with HPCSA or equivalent.
• Minimum of 7 years post-graduate experience in sports physiotherapy.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a physiotherapy setting.
• Expertise in manual therapy, exercise prescription, and rehabilitation techniques for sports injuries.
• Strong diagnostic skills and ability to develop effective treatment plans.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Our client, a leading sports performance and rehabilitation center located in Bloemfontein, Free State, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Lead Sports Physiotherapist. This senior position involves providing advanced clinical expertise, overseeing physiotherapy services, and mentoring a team of physiotherapists and sports trainers. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of sports injuries, rehabilitation techniques, and performance enhancement strategies, coupled with strong leadership and communication skills. Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of sports-related injuries and musculoskeletal conditions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of post-graduate experience in sports physiotherapy, with substantial experience working with elite athletes.
• Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a physiotherapy setting.
• Expertise in manual therapy, exercise prescription, and rehabilitation techniques for sports injuries.
• Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to develop effective treatment plans.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Experience with performance testing and biomechanical analysis is highly desirable.
• Valid driver's license.
