Placements24 is seeking a Senior Sports Physiotherapist in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. You will diagnose and treat athletes, design rehabilitation plans, and collaborate with coaches and sports scientists to optimise performance and safe return to sport.

Requirements include a Master’s in Physiotherapy (Sports), HPCSA registration, and at least six years of post-graduate experience with elite athletes. A multidisciplinary, high-performance environment awaits.

• Registration with HPCSA and relevant body.
• Minimum 6 years post-graduate experience in sports physiotherapy, incl. elite athletes.
• Advanced knowledge of biomechanics, exercise physiology, and rehab principles.
• Proficiency in manual therapy and exercise prescription for sports injuries.
• Excellent diagnostic, clinical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and motivational skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours to support athletes in Stellenbosch.

Responsabilidades

About the Role

Our client, a renowned sports performance institute based in Stellenbosch, Western Cape, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sports Physiotherapist. This critical role involves providing expert diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation for athletes across various disciplines, aiming to optimize their physical function, prevent injuries, and facilitate safe return to sport. The Senior Sports Physiotherapist will work closely with coaches, athletic trainers, and sports scientists to develop integrated care plans and contribute to the overall performance enhancement of athletes. Key Responsibilities

Requirements
