Qualifications

Job description

Purpose

The SBG Investment and Asset Management business is building a new and exciting integrated investment proposition into the Affluent and HNW markets, supporting services to independent financial advisers as well as tied advisers within Standard Bank and Liberty. With access to a wide range of products and services across the group, including Standard Bank, STANLIB, STANLIB MM, INN8, Liberty Investments, and across different geographies, we aim to deliver a highly competitive, customer and adviser-centric, digitally enabled proposition. You will play a key role in delivering this leading investment value proposition. The role involves defining, executing, and overseeing the development of customer propositions across Liberty's investment products, activating them in specific channels and segments, with appropriate positioning relative to competitors.

Minimum Experience

5 - 8 years of experience in a similar environment, including 2 - 3 years at a specialist level.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degrees and Advanced Diplomas [NQF Level 07] in Finance, Economics, and Accounting.

Process

• Contribute to strategy enablement, implementation, and delivery optimization across an internal value chain through best practice development and implementation.
• Use technical and professional knowledge to proactively develop alternatives and identify optimal solutions for tactical problems.
• Plan and deliver work outputs related to a service or operational area, managing interdependent activities and setting standards to ensure efficiency.
• Maintain knowledge of current and emerging investment propositions.
• Develop and launch new propositions and manage their lifecycle.
• Develop and deliver revenue plans for each proposition with key stakeholders, ensuring profitability aligns with the annual plan.
• Align distribution team sales targets and incentives to meet product/proposition commercial goals.
• Demonstrate thought leadership and promote a customer-centric mindset across distribution, manufacturing, operations, and service.
• Work closely with investment professionals to simplify messages to the market and align offerings with customer needs.
• Manage and deliver specialist messaging for ad hoc/internal projects impacting client experience.
