Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced specialist to manage the requirements for Financial Data, as well as underlying Big Data technologies and Data Infrastructure dependencies.

Job Description

• Manage maintenance of the Coverage and Pricing analysis tools (data sharing, accessibility, enhancements).
• Support and maintain the function’s Big Data enabling technologies.
• Identify and manage the function’s Data and Server risks.
• Oversee the delivery of the function’s BAU work and remediation plans (change management).
• Manage contingent workforce resources.
• Build analytical tools to generate insights, recognize patterns, and predict behavior.
• Present insights and tactical plans to business areas to enable enhancements and new initiatives, ultimately improving customer experience.
• Ensure data accuracy and compliance with Data Governance requirements.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience working with and managing Finance Data, SQL, PowerBI, Big Data Visualization, Data Engineering (advantageous).
• Experience with SQL SSIS/SSAS/SSRS, SAS, Hadoop, DataBricks, and Server Maintenance.
• Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework, and Absa Policies and Standards.
• Understand and manage risks and risk events relevant to the role.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field.
