Job summary
Boardroom Appointments in Gqeberha is seeking a Lead Solar PV Installer. You will install residential and light commercial grid-tied PV systems, with emphasis on safety and quality.
A minimum of 3+ years of solar installation experience is required, including roof and ground mount work, and handling micro and string inverters with monitoring systems. You will report to the Technical Support Manager, install and commission the system from start to finish, review project plans, work with the crew
Qualifications
- 3+ years of solar installation experience.
- Experience with roof and ground mount systems.
- Experience with micro and string inverters and monitoring systems.
- Red Seal Electrician certification preferred.
- PV Green Card preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead PV installer responsible for solar installations.
- Install residential and light commercial grid-tied PV systems.
- Install and commission the PV system from start to finish.
- Coordinate with Technical Support Manager; review project plans.
- Work with crew to complete projects on time.
- Assemble solar array racking; seal roof penetrations.
- Set up solar monitoring system.
- Maintain safety and quality control; diagnose issues.
- Interact with customers professionally.
