Cygnet Hospital Forestwood:

Cygnet Bury Forestwood offers CAMHS Tier 4 PICU, General Acute, and Low Secure services across four wards, providing a defined treatment pathway from admission through intervention and discharge, including rapid assessment and treatment.

Your Day-to-Day
  • Work 40 hours a week
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve services and strengthen the social work role in mental health service delivery
  • Partner with service users/patients, their families, and other stakeholders to assist recovery
  • Maintain contact with statutory agencies
  • Lead on the social care needs of service users/patients
  • Ensure service users/patients and their families are aware of their legal rights
  • Participate actively in safeguarding within the multidisciplinary team
  • Provide written reports to the multidisciplinary team and other professionals
You are
  • A Registered Social Worker with Social Work England
  • Having at least 4 years of qualified experience in a mental health setting or a strong passion for this field
  • Knowledgeable about safeguarding, health & safety, data protection, confidentiality, equality, and diversity
  • An excellent communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills
  • A team player capable of working within a multidisciplinary team
  • Skilled in report writing with excellent literacy and attention to detail
