Job summary

Opensource in CPT-CBD seeks a Lead Server Engineer to drive on-prem and cloud infrastructure growth. You will lead upgrades, capacity planning and risk assessments while coordinating with network, applications and cybersecurity teams.

You will mentor a team of server engineers, manage storage, backups and disaster recovery, and advance service improvements through formal processes.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in server infrastructure.
• Experience leading infrastructure upgrades and capacity planning.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and hybrid migrations.

Lead Server Engineer

Seniority Level: 5 - 7 yrs exp - K3 - K4

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Server Infrastructure Management
• Lead infrastructure upgrades, refresh cycles, and capacity planning
• Conduct Risk assessments and assist with the baseline requirements for changes in the infrastructure
• Manage storage platforms, backup systems, and disaster recovery solutions

Cloud & Hybrid Infrastructure

• Manage and optimize cloud resources (Azure/AWS)
• Implement hybrid identity and workload migrations
• Support automation initiatives

Security & Compliance

• Implement and enforce security standards
• Log and Track vulnerability assessments
• Enforce least-privilege access and security baselines

Leadership & Collaboration

• Provide technical leadership to server infrastructure engineers
• Work closely with network, application, and cybersecurity teams
• Lead infrastructure projects and service-improvement initiatives

Operations & Support

• Ability to manage, support and monitor systems and infrastructure
• Communicate and coordinate with 3rd party vendors
• Conduct root-cause analysis and maintain comprehensive documentation
