We are looking for passionate and committed Lead and Senior Consultants to join our Business Consulting Capability.

Our Johannesburg office is situated in Houghton Estate, within walking distance of the Rosebank Gautrain station.

Introduction: There are opportunities at BSG for individuals with Business Solutions Consulting skills to join our Analysis and Design Capability.

Candidates must possess excellent business and technology analysis skills, estimation and planning, facilitation and presentation, and must produce high-quality deliverables and documentation.

Candidates should have a keen interest in analysing and designing customer-centric, fact-based solutions and demonstrate a desire to see business transformation projects through from conceptualisation to implementation, taking full accountability for delivery.

Candidates will be required to collaborate in multi-skilled teams, focusing on coaching and mentoring others, as well as continuously developing their own skills.

Main Purpose of the Role

Owning the delivery of business solutions on client projects, from conceptualisation to implementation.

Leading a team of one or more junior consultants in understanding and defining business problems, gathering and analysing requirements (customer, data, business, process, and technology), and designing innovative business solutions that meet client needs.

Helping clients contextualise and articulate business problems using data, domain knowledge, industry expertise, research, insights, and capability skills.

Shaping the project delivery approach and execution plan, including governance and benefits case.

Facilitating workshops and presentations to elicit and document requirements from stakeholders.

Translating requirements into customer-centric solution designs for building and implementation, including presenting designs to stakeholders.

Managing risks and issues according to governance standards and assisting in their administration.

Working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Managing the performance of project team members.

Overseeing project-related commercial management in conjunction with the Client Executive.

Ensuring quality assurance for personal work and that of the team.

Focusing on practical solutions, technical problem solving, and planning.
