Job summary

Advtech, located in Tembisa, Gauteng, seeks a Lead STEM Educator specializing in robotics and coding. You will design cutting-edge curriculum and lead a team of educators to deliver hands-on STEM experiences for diverse learners.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a STEM field or Education, with 7+ years in teaching or curriculum development. A Master's is advantageous, and strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or Education required.
Master's degree advantageous.
Proven leadership experience in educational teams preferred.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver an engaging STEM curriculum focusing on robotics, coding, and computational thinking for varying ages.
Lead and mentor a team of STEM educators with professional development.
Oversee procurement and maintenance of robotics equipment and software.
Facilitate hands-on learning experiences, projects, and workshops.
Integrate project-based learning to boost engagement.
Assess student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and leadership.
Represent the institution at STEM events and outreach.
Stay updated on educational tech and robotics trends.
Foster a safe, inclusive learning environment.
