About LevelUP HCS

LevelUP HCS provides Recruiting Consulting Services and Strategic Solutions that positions companies to confidently scale. Our experienced experts mesh appreciation of the human dynamic with recruitment goals, corporate considerations, and compliance requirements. We custom design and institute a scalable, seamless recruitment process that is fully integrated end-to-end for each client.

We are the first to deliver a recruitment solution that marries subject matter expert (SME) recruiters and management consulting to deliver high quality hires at a low cost. We offer flexible solutions, including teams of on- or off-site dedicated recruiters.

About the Role

We are seeking a polished and proactive Lead Recruitment Coordinator to lead and evolve our recruitment coordination function. This is a pivotal, client-facing role where you’ll manage executive-level scheduling, mentor team members, and drive operational excellence across global recruitment processes.

Working within a fast-paced, tech-influenced environment, you’ll bring a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on delivery to support and scale critical talent acquisition operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute end-to-end recruitment coordination, with hands-on scheduling responsibilities—especially for executive-level interviews.
  • Mentor, guide, and support a global team of recruitment coordinators, including acting as a point of escalation.
  • Lead and contribute to key projects and strategic initiatives focused on continuous process improvement and recruitment operations.
  • Drive quality control and ensure compliance within recruitment systems and practices.
  • Act as the primary coordination lead during absences and provide operational coverage across global time zones (with a focus on PST).
  • Coordinate seamlessly with hiring teams, recruiters, and stakeholders across multiple regions and time zones.
  • Uphold high standards of candidate and client experience throughout the recruitment process.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • 3–5 years of experience in recruitment coordination, recruitment operations, or a similar talent function.
  • Proven leadership capabilities and experience driving or leading project-based work.
  • Hands-on experience with recruitment systems and HR technologies.
  • Strong process orientation and exceptional problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Professional presence with client-facing experience (minimum 60% of the role is client-facing).

Nice to Have:

  • Experience supervising or mentoring recruitment coordination teams.
  • Exposure to high-volume or contact centre hiring environments, ideally within tech-heavy industries.
  • Background working in or hiring from customer service environments.

Soft Skills That Will Set You Apart

  • Confident, calm, and polished communicator with executive presence.
  • Strong initiative and ability to independently troubleshoot or improve processes.
  • Resilient under pressure with a solutions-first mindset.
  • Collaborative, approachable, and a natural team mentor.

Additional Information

  • 12 Month Contract with the possibility of permanent employment
  • Working Model: Hybrid – 2 to 3 days in office (Century City, Cape Town)
  • Working Hours: Early morning start (starting between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM SAST)
  • Notice Period: Ideally ASAP, but we’re open to candidates with up to 1 month’s notice
