Job summary

Boardroom Appointments seeks an IT Infrastructure Technical Coordinator to oversee planning, installation and management of network services on-site in Johannesburg. The role spans LAN, WAN, Wireless, Satellite, Telephony, and related client services, with emphasis on reliable architecture, governance, and security.

The successful candidate will lead network projects, document architectures, coordinate with vendors, and ensure ongoing maintenance and security reviews across the organization.

Qualifications

• CCNA, CCNP or equivalent networking certifications.
• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Engineering or related field preferred.
• Experience coordinating IT infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust network design and architecture.
• Provide comprehensive documentation for network design, diagrams and configurations.
• Define and deliver strategic plans for IT implementations to ensure effectiveness.
• Oversee deployment of network solutions including hardware, software and configurations.
• Ensure regular maintenance and updates to keep infrastructure secure.
• Lead security measures to protect the network from cyber threats.
• Conduct regular security assessments and address vulnerabilities.
• Lead troubleshooting to resolve outages or performance issues.
